PIECE OF ME: A POEM BY EMMALIZER
PIECE OF ME
A POEM BY EMMALIZER
I once was kissed a lady,
She wept at her laughter,
The moment was for us,
In her eyes, I saw the world spinning,
The emotions spelt a spell that angels couldn't stand,
While on it, her chamber named "The Lovers' Shade",
Felt our presence,
The love story will not be complete,
Without mentions of the fights when our fists were low,
The fun times under the tree,
To make the hunger of our love grow,
We relate thrice the way a ship does to water,
To say my need for her, can bring a giant to his knees,
Teasing her sends a package to relive what we both sealed,
I dare the confessions I made to her were under duress,
She's charming with her nice smell,
A bond created to last till the thin rope cuts,
She loves the love I had for her,
To sign up her daily pledge, she rubs her lip gloss on my lips,
Say some pretty good things to the life you have found,
I bless your heart for the desires of real loving,
The head of mine that's big, grew bigger but shrinks after leaving home,
A talented teaser she was,
The life-saving skills in both of us killed the weaknesses we had,
Brethren in the hood called us, "life givers", while others, "the love birds",
We could dine and whine like it's our last day, whereas it was a routine,
This sparked the happiness between us,
We lived happily all through.
All these happened in my thoughts.
