Christ In Me

CHRIST IN ME

A Poem about Christ in Me written by Emmalizerwrites

He came boldly speaking to me in my face,
That He is in me,
With doubts and fears shrinking my faith to
stand tall,
I drew back, took another turn,
My legs was in it's state of coldness,

No tears should drop in the midst of it all,
I slapped myself to gain grounds,
Bowed my head in shame,
But as a Father will do to his son,
I got a lifting support,

He is still saying I'm in you,
Waiting for a confirmation,
He whispered in to my ears,
"My son, you will never walk alone".
Thoughts in me, will not permit my conscience agree with reality.

The illumination from His face is as bright as the sun rays from the Sahara,
Taking a glimpse of the beauty of nature,
Reminds me, He is in me.
Not soon to give up on His promise,

I'm a free man, who walks in His path,
To live a life free from crisis,
Not just as a result of persistent breakthroughs,
Though, breaking through is the reflection of Christ in me,
Having a hope filled with His love,

A unique being like myself,
I know you are aware about that,
I don't have the strength to have a life filled with crisis,
Guess what? He lives in me!
That's why I scream,
Christ in me aloud for truly He is in me.
